Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a generous bonus of BDT 3.5 million for the Bangladesh Women's cricket team, including the best performers and team management, after concluded three-match T20I and three-match ODI series against India. The announcement was made on Sunday by BCB President Nazmul Hasan, who expressed his contentment despite the team's loss in the first match against the formidable Indian side. He said that time, "We lost that match against a big team like India. But the girls played really well afterwards and I’m really happy for them.” In recognition of outstanding century in the last ODI – the first-ever century by a Bangladeshi woman in ODIs – Fargana Hoque Pinky will also receive a bonus of BDT 200,000. This, in addition to the rewards for other players and staff, will result in a total bonus exceeding BDT 3.5 million. Bangladesh team won one T20I and one ODI in this series against the India women's team. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 2-crore taka bonus for the ACC Women’s T20 Asia Cup champions Bangladesh women’s cricket team. BCB President Nazmul Hasan made the announcement at a reception hosted by the BCB to the Tigresses at Sonargaon Hotel upon their return from Malaysia on Monday evening. Reports UNB. Bangladesh women’s team landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the afternoon amid huge enthusiasm among the cricketers, organizers and cricket lovers. The team directly drove to Sonargaon Hotel to join the reception. Addressing the reception, the BCB chief said every member of the women’s team will initially receive 10 lakh taka. He also assured the female cricketers of enhancing their salary and other benefits very soon.   It is mentionable that each of 17 players in the national squad has been being paid taka 10 thousand to 30 thousand (USD 120 to 360) per month for the last few years since the salary structure came into place in 2012.
