BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has raised question over Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled Bangladesh visit. He raised the question at a discussion on the occasion of flag raising day organized by Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal-JSD at the national press club auditorium in the capital on Monday.

Mirza Fakhrul said, the unresolved issues of Bangladesh are not being solved with India. When the Indian premier is going to visit Bangladesh, at the same time violence is going on in Delhi. Allegations are being raised on the newspapers against Modi. We need to think about the question that in this period how fair is Modi’s visit to Bangladesh.

He said, depending on the spirit that people took part in the liberation war in 1971, the expectations that the people had and depending on the dream that people fought against the evil forces- none of those were met.

Fakhrul said, remaining in the power by force without people’s mandate this government is destroying spirit of liberation war. They want to establish one party ruling system.

About Begum Khaleda Zia’s bail he said, she is being barred from treatment in critical condition in unjust and illegally way after filing false cases and by confining her in the prison.
