Drizzle may continue till Wednesday, temperature may fall

The meteorological department has forecasted that the ongoing drizzle may continue till Wednesday with interruption across the country. As a result temperature may fall and cold wave may increase.

The night temperature may fall starting from Thursday when the rain is over. At that time cold wave in different parts of the country may prevail. Light rain was experienced in different regions including the capital on Monday. For that reason the temperature has fallen and cold wave increases.

Met office in its forecast for next 24 hours said that light rain or drizzle may come down in different areas of Barishal, Chattogram, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Rangpur and Mymensingh division. As well as moderate fog may appear in some parts of the country.

According to the met office notification, in the past 24 hours seven millimeters rain was experienced in Dhaka and Kumarkhali. Besides, slight rain was experienced in Rangpur, Rajarhat, Sylhet, Cox’s Bazar and Tangail.
