First cold wave of the season to appear next week

The first cold wave of this winter season may blow over different regions of the country on December 17 and 18. Before that there are possibilities of light rainfall.

Confirming the matter to Rtv news meteorologist of the meteorological directorate Omor Faruk said on Friday that the first cold wave of the season may blow over the country till 17 and 18 December. The cold wave will be felt in the northern region at first then over the entire country gradually.

He also said, the ongoing foggy weather may continue for two more days. Light rain may occur somewhere in the country before the cold wave appears. Though the cold wave may blow over the northern region but it will affect the overall temperature of the country. During the cold wave temperature in the northern region may go down below 10 degree Celsius.
