Eleventh grade classes begin from Oct 4

The classes of the eleventh grade students will begin from October 4. Decision has been taken to hold the classes through online as educational institutions are closed due to coronavirus situation. In this regard the education boards have issued letters to the colleges to take necessary preparations for taking online classes from October 4.

In this connection a letter signed by Dhaka secondary and higher secondary education board Chairman and also the Chairman of inter education board coordination subcommittee Professor M Ziaul Haque said, classes cannot be taken in the classrooms due to Covid-19 situation.

There it was also said, decision has been taken to hold the classes through online for the students who were admitted in eleventh grade for the 2020-21 session from October 4. In this regard concerned all were asked to take necessary steps.

Meanwhile, in a notice it was said, Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni will inaugurate the online class on next Sunday (October 4) as the chief guest. The program will be organized at Dhaka College premises where Deputy Minister for education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury is going to be present as special guest.

The online admission activities started on August 9 last. Usually the classes for the eleventh graders start on July 1 every year but due to coronavirus situation in the country the starting of the admission and classes were delayed.
