Secretary Md. Mahbub Hossain

Secretary of secondary and higher education division of the education ministry Md. Mahbub Hossain said, no decision has been taken yet about holding HSC and JSC-JDC examinations. In addition, whether the educational institution will be reopened or not that will be informed after 25th August.

Mahbub Hossain delivered the information while answering questions of the newsmen at the secretariat on Monday.

He said, holding examination is not a secret matter. We will declare it openly. There should not be any base or logic to spread rumors.

Mahbub Hossain said, HSC is a public examination and life of huge number of students associated with it. If we create any mistake or rumor then that will be a great exception regarding our accountability.

I would request to refrain from delivering any comment or create any rumor until there is no declaration or decision from the responsible persons associated or by the government. The Education Minister clearly said that when we will hold the examinations, we will inform it with two weeks prior notice.

He said, we will fix the date of examination and inform it openly. There were preparations from the earlier and we are prepared. Due to Covid-19 situation we have taken special preparation so that examinations can be held by increasing the number of centers. When we will fix the date, we will ensure that health guidelines are strictly followed.
