95.18 percent pass rate in Primary

The results of Primary and Ebtedayee terminal examinations were published. Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman handed over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Gonobhaban on Saturday morning.

95.18 percent students have passed out in this year’s primary terminal examinations. The rate is 92.94 percent in Ebtedayee examinations.

In the last year’s primary terminal examination the pass rate was 98.51 percent and in Ebtedayee examination it was 95.85 percent.

Primary and Mass Education Minister at 1 pm and Education Minister at 2 pm upheld details of the results through press conference from their respective offices at the secretariat.

The Primary and Ebtedayee terminal examinations were held from November 19 to 26.

28 lakh 4 thousand 509 students appeared in this year’s primary terminal examinations and 2 lakh 91 thousand 566 students took part in the ebtedayee examinations.

Primary terminal examinations result could be seen through sending SMS from mobile phone by pressing: DPE (space) thana/upazila code number (space) roll number (space) 2017. The SMS should be sent to 16222. The return message will show the result.

To get the Ebtedayee examinations result message should be sent to 16222 typing: EBT (space) thana/upazila code number (space) roll number (space) 2017.

For writing the SMS the first five numbers of EMIS code number of government or registered non-government primary schools can be used as thana/upazila code number. This could be known from education directorate website, concerned district primary education office, upazila/thana education office and primary schools.

Moreover results could be known from the website of Directorate of Primary Education (www.dpe.gov.bd) and Teletalk website (http://dpe.teletalk.com.bd).
