All bars will remain closed on thirty first night: Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said, all the bars will remain closed on the thirty first night. If anybody brings drugs illegally then our law enforcing agencies will take action.

He said this after inaugurating the Metropolitan Shooting Club at the Police Convention Center in the capital on Tuesday.

Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said, we have imposed some restrictions on thirty first night. Nobody will be allowed to hold program after the sunset. If anybody would arrange then they have to do it in their homes.

He said, we are taking measures so that nobody could gather in a place and make chaos in the area of Gulshan and Dhaka University. The decisions were taken to maintain law and order in the country and for safety of lives and properties of people.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Hoque, Additional IGP and Special Branch Chief Dr. Mohammad Jabed Patwary, Additional IGP (Administration) Mokhlesur Rahman and others were present on the occasion.
