Gold prices reduce again in local markets
The gold prices have been reduced in the country’s market. After reducing by 1,458 taka per bhori the price of the best quality gold (22 carat) is fixed at 72, 258 taka.
Bangladesh Jewelers Samity (BAJUS) said this in a press release and the information was published on their website. The new prices have been activated from 2 pm. BAJUS general secretary Dilip Kumar Agarwal confirmed the information.
BAJUS said, the prices were activated from the Friday afternoon. Earlier, in the current month (August 13) the price of 22 carat gold was fixed at 73,716 taka by reducing 4,450 taka per bhori.
It said, the prices are being reduced as the gold prices are in downward trend in the international market.
According to the new list, the price of 21 carat per bhori gold is fixed at 69,100 taka. 18 carat gold per bhori is fixed at 60,361 taka. The price of old method gold per bhori is fixed at 50,040 taka. Per bhori silver will be sold at 933 taka at the previous rate.
