Lowest temperature at Tetulia

The lowest temperature 13.9 degree Celsius was recorded at Tetulia under Panchagarh district and it is the lowest temperature in this season.

At 6 am on Saturday the temperature at Tetulia was recorded 13.9 degree Celsius which was unchanged at 9 am. It is the lowest temperature in the country in this season, confirmed the met office.

The temperature began to decrease in the winter season in Panchagarh district comparing to the previous year as it is situated closer to the Himalaya. For the last three days cold is being felt after the sunset with dense fog as wind from the Himalaya blows over the district.

Van puller Asirul Islam said, it is very cold from the morning. I have to wear warm cloth to come outside. Severe cold is being felt for the last three days.

The same words were uttered by stone worker Naqibul Islam. He said, today is very cold and the water of the river also, so I am sitting here.
