Leave drugs or face awful consequences: Home Minister

To the drug traders Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said, you should leave drugs and need to surrender. Otherwise police force will find you out. If you do not leave drugs then what will be the consequences, Allah knows better.

He said these at a gathering held at Napiterhat Government Primary School premises at Phulchhari upazila under Gaibandha district on Sunday. Earlier he inaugurated the administrative building of Phulchhari police station.

In the program the minister said, we have to eradicate drugs to save the youth power and new generation of the country.

He warned the godfather and drug traders and said, leave the path otherwise you have to face dire consequences. To eradicate drugs anti narcotic laws are amended. Police are playing zero tolerance role against drugs following direction from the Prime Minister. Police forces are stronger than the previous period.

Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said, people who are involved in drugs related activities have been identified. They will be given chance to recover. If the drug traders want to return to normal life then they would be provided cooperation like the pirates got it earlier.

In the program total 78 including 21 top drug traders of Phulchhari upazila surrendered to the home minister.
