Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid has said that decision has been taken to close the coaching centers across the country from Friday to prevent the question paper leakage in Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations.

The decision was taken at the meeting of National Monitoring Committee at the education ministry on Thursday. Representatives from different ministries and law enforcing agencies were present in the meeting.

The Minister said, the examinations will be held under same question papers throughout the country for the first time. Examinations will be cancelled if any proof of question paper leak was found.

Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Division Sohorab Hossain said, not only for Facebook, recommendation will be made for stopping internet based social networks for a durable time. Examinees have to sit in their seats within 9:30 am.

SSC and equivalent examinations will begin from February 1 throughout the country.
