Maulana Saad leaves Dhaka

World Ameer of Tablig Jamat and in charge of Delhi’s Nizamuddin Markaz Maulana Saad Kandhalvi has left Dhaka for Delhi. He left the capital with his entourage by a flight of Jet Airways at around 11:45 am on Saturday.

Armed Police Battalion (APBN) ASP Tariq Ahmed As-Sadik said to the newsmen that Maulana Saad left Dhaka by a Jet Airways flight at 11:45 am on Saturday.

Maulana Saad arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday to take part in the Bishwa Ijtema at Tongi. Tablig workers and Qaumi Alems staged demonstration at the airport and adjacent areas protesting his arrival on that day. For this reason he could not joint at the Ijtema ground. He stayed at the Kakrail mosque in the capital.

OC of Ramna police station Kazi Mainul Islam said, Maulana Saad was taken to the airport with adequate security.

A responsible person of the high ups of Kakrail mosque and Markaz said, Maulana Saad held suggestive meeting with Tablig Jamat Ameers of different countries and responsible persons on the occasion of Bishwa Ijtema before his departure. In the meeting invitation activities of Tablig Jamat in different countries, formation of Mazlishe Shura for organizing Tablig and the date for next Bishwa Ijtema were fixed.

The responsible person also said, each year after completion of Ijtema the activities of next year’s Tablig Jamat and date for holding the next Bishwa Ijtema are discussed. As the Ameer of Tablig Jamat Maulana Saad Kandhalvi could not go to Ijtema this year so the decisions were taken at the Kakrail mosque.
