Number of daily deaths from coronavirus decreases again

In last 24 hours 41 people died after being infected with coronavirus in the country. With this the number of deaths reached at 11,796. In this period 1,822 people were traced as coronavirus cases in the country. With this the number of traced cases has reached at 7,69,160. On Wednesday the number of deaths was 50.

The information was delivered through a press release of the health directorate on Thursday.

The press release said, in the last 24 hours total 21,585 samples were tested in the government and private laboratories in the country. In this time total 3,698 people recovered from the deadly disease. The number of recovery has risen to 7,02,163. In the past 24 hours the rate of recovery is 91.29 per cent.

Of the total deceased in the last 24 hours two were aged over 40s, 15 were aged over 50s and 24 were aged over 60s. According to the division wise distribution, 20 died in Dhaka, 14 died in Chattogram, two in Rajshahi, one in Khulna, two in Barishal and two died in Sylhet division.
