ICT Chief Investigator Hannan Khan passes away

Chief Investigator of International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) and freedom fighter Abdul Hannan Khan died of coronavirus at Dhaka Combined Military Hospital today (Sunday). He breathed his last at around 12:45 pm at the age of 78.

ICT Senior Officer M Sanaul Haque confirmed the information and said, Hannan Khan was admitted at a private hospital in the capital on September 9 due to physical illness. As his condition deteriorated he was shifted to CMH following instruction of the Prime Minister.

Mentionable, after retiring from the post of additional DIG of police Abdul Hannan Khan as an experienced police officer served the responsibility of Chief Coordinator of Bangabandhu killing and Jail killing cases.
