Closure of educational institutions extended till Oct 31

The closure of all educational institutions in the country due to Covid-19 outbreak has been extended till October 31.

The information was delivered through a notice of the education ministry signed by its Information and Public Relations Officer Abul Khayer on Thursday.

During this period all the schools, colleges and madrasas of the country will be closed. But this direction will not be effective for the Qaumi madrasas.

Yesterday (Wednesday) Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni at a virtual meeting with the newsmen informed about extension of the closure. After one day the closure has been extended for about one month afresh.

Due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic worldwide the government declared educational institutions of the country closed from March 17. Earlier it was extended till October 3 by phases. And again the closure has been extended till October 31.
