Appeal made to extend stay order of Khaleda Zia’s jail term

The family members of Begum Khaleda Zia have appealed to extend the stay order of her jail term to the home ministry.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal confirmed the information to the news media on Saturday.

He said that the letter was sent to the law ministry for further activities.

It was known that appeal was also made for the overseas treatment of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. It is about one and half months remaining for the tenure of six months stay order of Begum Khaleda Zia’s jail term.
