Mahbub Alam new Repatriation Commissioner

Mahbub Alam Talukder has been appointed as the new Relief and Repatriation Commissioner in Rohingya refugee camps. He is currently serving his duty as the Director of disaster management directorate.

The order came through a notification served by public administration ministry on Monday. He was asked to join his new work station by September 5.

Earlier in another notification the ministry withdrew the current Refugee, Relief and Repatriation Commissioner Md. Abul Kalam and seven Camp In-charge.

In this regard Md. Abul Kalam told Rtv online, I have fulfilled my two years term. I have been transferred according to the rules.

At that time he thanked the media journalists for cooperating him while discharging duties.

Mentionable, Rohingya leader Muhib Ullah called for a huge gathering on August 25 to observe two years of Rohingya crisis. According to the announcement nearly five lakh Rohingyas gathered there. Later the government said that there was no permission for the gathering of Rohingyas.
