Next generation succeeds by women with moral virtue: Morshed Alam

Rtv’s Chairman Alhaj Morshed Alam, MP said, next generation succeeds with help of educated, honest women with moral virtue. Because, women make the way smooth for men to reach the target of success by accompanying them as a mother, sister or wife.

He said these at the honor hand over program of ‘Joya Alokito Nari 2019’ at the ball room of Pan Pacific Hotel Sonargaon in the capital on Friday evening.

The program was inaugurated by Housing and Public Works Minister SM Rezaul Karim as the chief guest. Rtv Chief Executive Officer Syed Ashik Rahman delivered introductory speech in the program.

Alhaj Morshed Alam said, today is March 8, International Women’s Day. By keeping pace with the globe Rtv for the last 6 years has been delivering ‘Alokito Nari’ honor medal for the recognition of sacrificial contribution of women to the society. Our women in the country are performing their role in different sectors including head of government. Our women even surprised the world by winning the Everest. Women are marching forward keeping pace with men in different sectors of the country like cultural and sports field.

In the program Rtv’s Vice Chairman Md. Jasim Uddin said, to pay respect to International Wome’s Day Rtv for the last 6 years is delivering the ‘Alokito Nari’ award with huge arrangements. Rtv not only remains its activity centering the broadcasting. It is associated with creative cultural activities along with the program broadcasting.

The award winning women of this year are- Dr. Ferdousi Qadri (Science research), Shabnam (Acting-film), Johiron Bewa (Social service), Joyoti Chakrabarty of India (Music), Maleka Khan (Social service), Nayan Selina (Self reliance), Dr. Rubana Haque (Women entrepreneur), Ratna Aketr Nadi (Sports- women wheelchair basket ball player).
