Case filed against 87 including Hasina and Rehana

A case has been filed in name of 87 people, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her sister Sheikh Rehana, in connection with the firing on students in Sylhet. Another 400 to 500 unidentified people have been accused in the case.

On Wednesday (August 21), the case was filed by Juber Ahmad in the Sylhet Metropolitan First and Fast Track Court. He is the son of deceased Sirajul Islam of the city's Electric Supply Kalbakhani area.

The plaintiff alleged that on August 4, a peaceful procession of students was attacked and indiscriminately fired at in Court Point and Bandar Bazar area of ​​the city. In this incident, the plaintiff himself was shot. 7 ministers, advisors, state ministers, former IGP, MPs, mayors of the Awami League government have been accused in this. Awami League and organization leaders have also been accused.
